Mäkrä 3 is a nicely renovated apartment set in the beautiful landscapes of Loma-Koli, between Käränkälammi and Lake Pielinen. The apartment is well-suited for solo travelers, couples, and families. Right next to the cabin, there is a 6 km illuminated trail, which serves as a lovely hiking route in the summer. Pets are also welcome here! Koli National Park, full of hiking trails, is just 10 km away.

Located 64 km north of Joensuu, Lake Pielinen is 100 m away, with a shared sandy/gravel beach. There is a beautiful sandy beach 1 km away on the shores of Lake Pielinen, and in winter, an ice road runs from here across the lake to Lieksa.

The apartment is part of a log row house built in 1981, renovated in 2006, with surface renovations in 2023. It includes a combined kitchen/living room, a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with two beds, a separate toilet, a shower in the bathroom, and an electric sauna. There is a covered back porch.

In the yard, there is a shared grill shelter with a fixed wood grill and a gas grill, available for use by all apartments. There is also a shared ski maintenance room, firewood storage and two rowing boats available at the shore.

Next to the front door, there is an electric car charging station available for an additional fee.
