Welcome to Bokenäs – close to the sea, nature, and charming excursions A warm welcome to cozy, comfortable accommodation in beautiful Bokenäs, where you can enjoy the peace of the countryside while staying close to the sea and the coastal gems of Bohuslän. Here, the forest and nature are right on your doorstep, yet you are close to swimming spots, small coastal villages, and wonderful excursion destinations. The house is ideal for a family or a group of up to five people. The kitchen features a small sofa that can also be converted into a bed. The living room serves as the natural gathering place, complete with a sofa, a TV with Netflix and Chromecast, and access to a spacious deck. There is also a sofa bed in the living room should you need extra sleeping space. The bedroom contains a small double bed (140 cm wide) and a single bed with a pull-out trundle bed. While the room becomes quite compact when the trundle bed is in use, it works well when extra sleeping space is required. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, washbasin, and shower; a washing machine is also available in the cottage. At the back of the house, there is a small, secluded patio perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a quiet moment in the sun. Although the house shares a plot with the owners' residence, the rental unit has its own private patio; otherwise, the house is surrounded by forest and nature, creating a delightful countryside atmosphere. Discover Bokenäs and Bohuslän There is plenty to discover in the local area. Take a trip to picturesque Fiskebäckskil and stroll among boathouses, historic coastal architecture, and winding walking paths. The sea, swimming spots, and the characteristic Bohuslän cliffs are close by; with Lysekil, Skaftö, and Grundsund within easy reach, there are many opportunities for day trips, swimming, and exploration. For groceries, there are larger stores in Rotan or at Torp in Uddevalla—the latter also offering a wide range of shops for those who enjoy shopping. For smaller, quick purchases, there is also a shop in Fiskebäckskil. Here, it is easy to unwind, socialize, and enjoy the best of Bohuslän—the nature, the sea, and the tranquility of Bokenäs.
